Huidobro between writings and rewritings
Abstract
During the process of formation and development of his identity as poet, Huidobro read and rewrote traditional poems in his first books. Furthermore, he wrote texts analogous to Parra 's antipoems, such as certain fragments of Altazor, the poems "Ilusiones perdidas ", "Égloga" and others. But these are "exercises in antipoetization" which can only be said to precede Parra 's antipoems in time, because Huidobro 's metalanguage and satyric mode do not reach the full potential of his succesors Antipoetry.
